Aquaculture industries is a company that breeds raises and markets high value fin fish. The fish are raised in advanced technological recirculating aquaculture systems. This ensures the best fish anywhere. The fish are 100% parasite and antibiotic free. They grow with no exposure to heavy metals or other toxins that end up on your plate!

Our facilities are all designed to be as environmentally friendly as can be, we re use and recirculate water and throw away a phenomenally small amount of water, under 2% a day including the showers for our crew! The electricity used for our plant is mostly solar based, for the Negev desert is sun blessed. We seek to use fish feeds that come from sustainable sources. The wastes from our plant (mostly fish guts) are processed then baked and turned into fish meal for use in animal feeds as a high-grade protein source.

The food fish is characterized by 2 opposite trends. Firstly the demand for sea food is rising all the time exponentially due to the health benefits of eating fish. On the other had the capture fisheries are constantly bringing in less catch and the natural sea populations of fish are dropping rapidly. Some of the fish are available only seasonally in contrast to intensively aqua cultured fish that are in all year round production.

Marine fish do not have “bad” cholesterol in them and are considered a health wise “super-food” and regular consumption of them is recommended by all doctors. Also the fishing regulation on capture fisheries causes the fish catches to drop sharply, this causes the prices of marine fish to rise steadily and constantly. The fish market is estimated in many Trillions of USD. Silicone Valley based capital fund BENCHMARK has invested very substantial sums of money in aquaculture and has seemed to initiate a global trend of investment in RAS.

The primary and fish we seek to make, grow and sell is the Atlantic salmon. The fish is to be sold to the large wholesale market and after securing a large foothold in that market as a marketing platform to continue to “land based export” to adjacent countries. These fish will be of better quality and freshens in comparison to what is available today.

We have all the permits form the Israeli ministry of agriculture to import (Salmon does not originate in Israel) and raise various Salmonid fish. Additional government bodies have been contacted and we are in the process of obtaining permits.

All fish will be strictly KOSHER and will be completely free of worms and parasites, due to the controlled bio-secure environment they are born and raised in.

Financial status. The company had successfully raised initial capital and is in the process for obtaining additional funds for building.

We wholly hope to create many hundreds of good paying jobs in the northern Negev for the honest livelihood of the good people of the settlements around the Gaza strip.

In the future the firm intends to raise other finfish.
